The Hive is a Mixed-Use Multi-Unit Residential Building located on West Broadway in Vancouver, BC. The goal of The Hive is to create a self-sustaining building resembling both the physical and social properties of a beehive, while simultaneously promoting engagement within a community environment. The bottom level of The Hive houses a variety of retail shops, the building lobby, the amenity space, and a sales center for the suites above. The individual honeycomb shaped suites stack together to reinforce the beehive structure, and scattered areas feature rich amounts of greenery to draw the users in a provide an environment that promotes connection and engagement within this sustainable community.
