PINK STEAKHOUSE
The goal of this project was to design a universally accessible fine dining restaurant that provides a unique experience. The design should embody the concept, and evoke the brand, character and ambiance that the client wishes to express. The client requested 150 seats, with 50% of the seats being reconfigurable - both of which this design was able to provide. The concept behind this restaurant is derived from the brand being described as a "modern-day" steakhouse, and playing off the location previously being a well known and exclusive fur shop. We decided to create a feminine take on the modern steakhouse - something commonly known throughout history as being a place for men, and focusing the concept on luxury and a sophisticated and eccentric blend of materials and textures. The restaurant combines a custom multi-toned marble floor, variety of textures walls, and a mix of custom booth and seating upholstery. The restaurant is intended to be an eclectic mix of colors and provide a wow factor upon every look.
